Most Delicious Cocktails

Michael and I have the tendency to order the other's drink for an event or dinner. We find it makes it more fun and adds a little surprise to our evenings out.

Mud Bugs - Sanibel Island, Florida

We kicked off our a date night on Sanibel Island with some refreshing drinks. I had the Lighthouse Beach, a cocktail the transported me to a tropical location (oh look I was already there). Michael had an Islamorada Citrus Ale, a crisp and refreshing beer that went with the laid-back island vibe.

Frisky Otter - Ely, Minnesota

For lunch when we arrived in Ely, we stopped at the Frisky Otter. It was a very hot and slightly stressful day. We decided to order some drinky-drinks with our meal. I got the Frisky Otter's Legendary Frozen Grasshopper. Believe me it was quite legendary and refreshing just like a mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Norwegian Bliss - Cruising to Alaska

One of the standout cocktails on our Alaskan cruise, hands down, was the Mudslide – a favorite of mine, Amber's, and Beth's. By the end of the trip, we knew exactly which bartenders to seek out for the best versions! I even overheard one bartender laughing that he’s made more Mudslides on this ship than anywhere else. The top bartenders got creative with the presentation, crafting fun designs with the chocolate syrup, making each drink feel like its own little work of art.
